About us

As an investigative photographer, I travel the world in search of the most urgent current issues affecting the survival of our world's ecosystems as well as its cultural heritage. Each of my projects ventures into the most dangerous, out-of-sight places on Earth in order to reveal to the whole world what it cannot afford to ignore. The overarching goal is to raise awareness and provide critical insight into topics that ultimately concern everyone.

Nowadays, our oceans are one of the most pressing critical issues. I decided to create this site because my team and I saw a need for a global platform where people can inform themselves about the challenges facing our oceans and get acquainted with people from around the world who are already confronting these issues. Some of them have developed great solutions that have already had a positive impact on the health of our marine ecosystems. Be they scientists, individuals, groups of activists, brand new startups, or long-established organizations, countless projects committed to the protection of our oceans are underway all over the world. The purpose of this site is to bundle all the activities aimed at protecting and preserving our seas—a visual tool for education and direct action.

Solutions to the problems facing our oceans can be found everywhere. The database gives them visibility and introduces them to you. We may also introduce examples of sustainable products, make travel recommendations, or identify businesses that have made protecting the environment an integral part of their organizational philosophy. We want to help you find your way to a more sustainable way of life. As far as we know, this is the first website that has undertaken to detail the very many ongoing, ocean-related projects all in one place. In general we are striving to create a huge network that will connect people from all around the world, and this is one way we are going about it. We want nothing less than to let people's shared desire to save the seas trigger a global movement.
