At Bye Bye Plastik, our cleanups go far beyond picking up waste. They are a powerful response to the growing wave of plastic pollution and the apathy that often surrounds it. We are on a mission to get people involved, shift mindsets and turn everyday actions into environmental impact.

During our cleanups participants dive into the issue of marine pollution, learn how to spot and collect plastic - even on seemingly pristine beaches. They sort and categorize their finds, and pick up practical, easy-to-use tips for cutting down on plastic in daily life.

And then comes the creative twist - kids especially love this part! Before the waste is safely disposed of, they transform their plastic finds into trash art. As a proud reward, they receive the Bye Bye Plastik medal - a symbol of their impact and commitment. But it doesn’t end there. Beach cleaners return home as inspired environmental ambassadors, ready to spark conversations and action in their schools, families and communities.

Our signature interactive cleanup map spreads the momentum. It invites people around the world to make every day a cleanup day. Whether you’re walking the dog, jogging or on your way to work you can collect plastic, upload your location, quantity and a photo to https://byebyeplastik.com/en/map or our Bye Bye Plastik App.

Your effort becomes visible, measurable - and inspires others.
Because cool people create less waste. And they clean up nature.
